Why We Feature Instagram Photos

Instagram is full of talented creators, designers, home cooks, gardeners, and DIYers sharing real, inspiring spaces. We feature some of their photos to help our readers discover new ideas and find the people behind them. Our goal is to send attention and followers back to the original creators, not to take credit for their work.

How We Credit Creators

When we feature a photo from Instagram, we:

• Name the creator and link to their Instagram profile
• Link back to the original post whenever possible
• Never claim someone else’s photo as our own
• Never remove or hide the creator’s credit

Where possible, we use Instagram’s official embed feature so the photo stays connected to the creator’s account.

Our Own Photos

Photos without an Instagram credit are our own, were provided to us by the creator, or are licensed or used with permission. Original My Home and Kitchen content may not be copied or republished without permission. See our Terms of Use for details.
